makes you chill more? the only people that could ever possibly be cold on boracay are dirt poor tree monkeys that never had aircon. Those people dont need to be wasting their money on a vacation anyway. As for world class, Boracay is a low class dump as compared to other places – its only famous in the eyes of flips.

Punta 1 and 2 are not very popular dive sites, only the German dive operators keep taking people there because its easy, fast, and safe… but popular they’re not.

Sea snakes wont bite people even when handling them, (assuming you’re not molesting them). Poisonous-yes, dangerous-no. Go to the Bat Caves on Boracay and you can swim along with dozens of them safely, they’re not even curious. They just swim right across you like you were nothing more than a ghost.

FYI – - I dont know of a single sighting of a hammerhead shark at Yapak in the past 5 years. Is someone telling you different? That would be awesome to see one. About giant manta rays at Yapak – out of 60+ dives there, I’ve seen only a single large manta.

Just thought I would drop a line on some corrections.. otherwise, keep up the good work Steve!

What a difference between then and now. If you’re walking nowadays on Fields, it is so extremely busy with traffic of tricycles, jeepneys and cars.
I’m happy it is since last year a one-way street, before it was more worse.
Great place, great street and a lot of fun in this area! I’m happy I’m a regular traveller to the Ph.
