Is there still segregation today?

A FACT OF LIFE
There is more segregation in a paradoxical way than there ever was. The world is getting smaller as peoples of all nations integrate. But when it come to living, one culture or another is more likely to live, or work, and mix amongst themselves, no matter where they are. One cannot blame them, if in truth, they ‘feel more at home.’ There’s nothing wrong with that, and many are judged because of it. Truth is even I sometimes would give the world to have some-one, anyone, of my own to even speak with! So this only amplifies the facts that it’s only natural.
Being different ethnically, if they are in your land, it is up to the home-land in which they may (even for some horror reasons,) find themselves in. So be there as a friend for them. I love bumping into any ethnic peoples of the planet when in the shops or streets of Oz. Some-how we always find a natural bonding, which is a good thing. So helping sometimes, is purely an acceptance of others, not a judgment because they are different. Within this acceptance, a trust is formed.
Maybe because, I am different, that ‘feel’ is projected towards these people, to speak with them. Yet, like a magnet we are likewise drawn. Even to Australian Aboriginal, African, Pacific Islander, South American, Turk, Egyptian, Greek, Armenian, or Asian; it doesn’t matter who. I’m told that even my English, which I learned by being schooled in Oz Land, even changes, to a more simplified way of speech. This too, is most likely because I struggled so much myself!
This is beginning to sound like, “treat others as you would like to be treated,” but, it’s not religion, it’s a fact of life which works. No-one, can help where they are born. Of what Nation they are of. Or… if ‘Ethnic’ is the word, it all means the same. My family alone is very Ethnic. Just stemming from my self and the children’s two late Dad’s, we are a mix of, ‘? ‘(my Dad was an orphan from birth,) + my Mum, was Oz. For me? I’m an Alien where-ever I go. We reach then into the blood of South Africa, and Africa via. Mauritius, French, Afrikaans via Dutch, then German, Philippines, via. Spanish (going back to South America.)
And now, I’m married to a true blue Oz, with fiery Scottish blood! So is it any wonder we are very Ethnic. I’m going home to the South Pacific as well. I’ve come full circle. Even here in Oz, our food and eating, living and ways are, also Ethnic. I still sleep and prefer to sit at floor level. I still walk bare footed
